The Darling

I love being organized. And I love being organized in style. 

I'm an early twenty-something adventurer with a taste for travel and pretty things. Raised in Virginia, I'm southern with a lot of sass.

I love love love dance. I've been dancing since I was three and I was lucky enough to obtain a College degree with it. Back in college with 20+ credit hours a semester and no less than 10 hour days running from studio to classroom back to the studio, I learned how to manage my time and the wonderful DM (Dance Major) motto "Work Hard, Play Hard, be hot doing it." After College I decided being a professional performer wasn't for me (though I am still professionally performing as an Aerialist)- I was always more facinated with the Choreography and Administrative side. Fast forward to a year after graduation and I've been working for a Theater, teaching dance and choreographing in the evenings, and more recently became a Board Member for a Fine Arts non-profit group. If I'm not busy, I get anxious. Insert: my addiction to RedBull.

Family is very important to me- my parents live 15 minutes away, as do my grandparents, my great-grandmother, and a troupe of extended cousins spanning the area of an entire County- that's a good ol' southern clan for you. My brother heads off to Hampden-Sydney College in the Fall- I hear football season fast approaching!

My boyfriend is wonderful. He's definitely the one. It doesn't hurt that he's a great cook, he makes beer for a living, and he's from the beach.

My friends keep me grounded. Though most of them live far away- it gives me an excuse to travel and spend time in the wonderful city of New York (who doesn't love a good shopping spree?).
